Moses said to Aaron, “Take a censer and put fire in it from the altar, PUT INCENSE ON IT, and take it quickly to the congregation and MAKE ATONEMENT FOR THEM; for wrath has gone out…The plague has begun.” Then Aaron took it…and ran into the midst of the assembly; and already the plague had begun among the people. So he put in the incense and made atonement for the people. And he stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped…” (Num. 16:46-49) 14,700 died in this plague, this censer filled fire represented the prayers of God’s people “Let my prayer be set before You AS INCENSE, The lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.” (Psa. 141:2)
BECAUSE OF ALL THE UNGODLY GOINGS-ON IN THIS WORLD TODAY, I feel inspired from the Lord to call us to ANOINT OUR DOOR POSTS and pray against this…My family and I JUST DID THIS!!!
As I have stated in the past, several times, our prayers are as incense and when we’re praying for someone, that incense goes into their vial (every person has a vial for prayers) and when that vial receives our prayers for someone, God adds His GRACE AND POWER TO OUR INCENSE and pours it out on the person we’re praying for. “…pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and ALWAYS KEEP ON PRAYING FOR ALL THE LORD’S PEOPLE.” (Eph. 6:18) “pray without ceasing…” (1 Thess. 5:17) This is how we get incense into their prayer vials.
“Do not be anxious (worry) about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition (appealing to God), with thanksgiving, present your requests to God…AND THE PEACE OF GOD, WHICH TRANSCENDS (exceeds) ALL UNDERSTANDING, WILL GUARD YOUR HEARTS AND YOUR MINDS IN CHRIST JESUS…” (Phil. 4:6-7)
