“For you died, and your life has been HIDDEN with Christ in God.” (Col. 3:3) We are completely in God’s loving care and protection!!! The Spirit of God testifies to and confirms the simple AMY, but almighty, security of the life that “is hidden with Christ in God.” We act as if living a sanctified life were an uncertain and insecure thing for us to do. Yet it is the most secure thing possible, because it has Almighty God IN AND BEHIND IT.
Because, “…if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son CLEANSES US from ALL SIN.” (1 John 1:7) So, how do we get to this place in our life? Listen to this Psalm, “I will 1Delight myself also in the LORD; and He shall give me the desires of my heart. I will Commit my way unto the LORD; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass.” (Psa. 37:4-5) 1delight: one who brings extreme satisfaction and great pleasure.
Then we need to claim this AMY, “I know that the kingdom of God is within me and that (Luke 17:21) the kingdom of God is RIGHTEOUSNESS, and PEACE, and JOY IN THE HOLY SPIRIT.” (Romans 14:17) and the kingdom of God is POWER.” (1 Corin. 4:20) I also need to proclaim, “the weapons of my warfare are not carnal, but MIGHTY THROUGH GOD to the pulling down of strong holds; I will Cast down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and I will bring into captivity EVERY THOUGHT to the obedience of Christ…“ (2 Corin. 10:4-5)
Just one more important thing to proclaim AMY, “My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in me, whom I have of God, and I AM NOT MY OWN! I AM BOUGHT WITH A PRICE: therefore I will GLORIFY GOD in my body, and in my spirit, WHICH ARE GOD’S.” (1 Corin. 6:20)
