“…the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, LOOKING FOR THE BLESSED HOPE AND GLORIOUS APPEARING OF OUR GREAT GOD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and PURIFY FOR HIMSELF His own special people, zealous for good works.” (Titus 2:11-14)
“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I GO TO PREPARE A PLACE FOR YOU. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I WILL COME AGAIN AND RECEIVE YOU TO MYSELF (this is our BLESSED HOPE!); that where I am, there YOU MAY BE ALSO.” (John 14:1-3) “For we through the Spirit EAGERLY WAIT for the HOPE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS by faith.” (Galatians 5:5)
“Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and HIS WIFE HAS MADE HERSELF READY.” And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for THE FINE LINEN IS THE RIGHTEOUS ACTS OF THE SAINTS.” (Revelation 19:7-8) Again this is our BLESSED HOPE…
“Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, WE SHALL BE LIKE HIM, for we shall see Him AS HE IS. And everyone who has this hope in Him PURIFIES HIMSELF, JUST AS HE IS PURE.” (1 John 3:1-3)
“Let us HOLD TIGHTLY without wavering TO THE HOPE WE AFFIRM, for God can be trusted to keep His promise. Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us NOT NEGLECT OUR MEETING TOGETHER, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of His return IS DRAWING NEAR.” (Hebrews 10:23-25)
