“Do not envy the wicked, do not desire their company; for their hearts plot violence, and their lips talk about making trouble.” (Pro. 24:1-2) [We must never envy sinners, no matter how happy they may seem to be, or to wish ourselves in their situation, although they may prosper in this world and seem to be happy and secure. Don’t let such a thought ever come into your mind, “O that we could shake off these restraints of religion and conscience, and take as great a liberty to indulge the carnal appetite, as we see so many do.” NO NEVER!!!] “Do not fret because of evildoers or be envious of the wicked, for THE EVILDOER HAS NO FUTURE HOPE, AND THE LAMP OF THE WICKED WILL BE SNUFFED OUT.” (Prov. 24:19-20) [We MUST remember that our Abba Father paid a great price (the life of His only begotten Son) for our redemption and He knows all about what is going on in this world; when the time is right HE WILL CATCH US AWAY!] “Do not fret because of those who are evil or be envious of those who do wrong; for like the grass they will soon wither, like green plants they will soon die away. TRUST IN THE LORD AND DO GOOD; dwell in the land and ENJOY SAFE PASTURE. Take DELIGHT in the LORD, and HE WILL GIVE YOU THE DESIRES OF YOUR HEART. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: HE WILL MAKE YOUR RIGHTEOUS REWARD SHINE LIKE THE DAWN, YOUR VINDICATION LIKE THE NOONDAY SUN.” (Psa. 37:1-6) [Taking ‘delight’ (‛ânag) means that the Lord is the source of our ‘extreme satisfaction’ and ‘great pleasurer’; He is all we need and all we need comes from Him!!!!] “A little while, and the wicked will be no more; though you look for them, they will not be found. But THE MEEK WILL INHERIT THE LAND AND ENJOY PEACE AND PROSPERITY. The wicked plot against the righteous and gnash their teeth at them; but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he knows their day is coming.” (Psa. 37:10-13) [Be faithful, HOLD ON. We must continue to love our Abba Father and our Lord Jesus with ALL OUR HEARTS!] “So then, brothers and sisters, STAND FIRM AND HOLD FAST to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter. May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, ENCOURAGE YOUR HEARTS AND STRENGTHEN YOU IN EVERY GOOD DEED AND WORD.” (2 Thess. 2:15-17)
