ORDER OUR STEPS LORD…

“…Peter followed at a distance…they had kindled a fire in the courtyard and with Peter, sat down together. And a servant girl, looked at him, “This man was also with Him.” Peter denied, “I DO NOT KNOW HIM.” another saw him, “You are of them.” Peter said, “MAN, I AM NOT!” Then another affirmed, saying, “this fellow was with Him, ” But Peter said, “MAN, I DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE SAYING!” IMMEDIATELY, THE ROOSTER CROWED.(Luke 22:54-60)  At this point, Peter was worn down, defeated, and weak. He was vulnerable, and the last place he should have been was at a fire surrounded by unbelievers. When the rooster crowed, godly sorrow brought conviction, which filled Peter’s heart. “…the Lord turned and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He had said to him, “Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” So PETER WENT OUT AND WEPT BITTERLY.(Luke 22:61-62) David said in the Psalms, Blessed is the man Who WALKS NOT in the counsel of the ungodly, NOR STANDS in the path of sinners, NOR SITS in the seat of the scornful…” (Psa. 1:1) When we hang around with the wrong people in the wrong places, we are going to end up doing the wrong thing.

A MAN OF UNDERSTANDING WALKS UPRIGHTLY (Prov. 15:21)
