Pre-Mid-Post Tribulation?
“…as the lightning that flashes out of one part under heaven shines to the other part under heaven, so also the Son of Man will be IN HIS DAY (when the Lord comes to harpazō: catch us up)…And as it was in the days of Noah, so IT WILL BE also IN THE DAYS OF THE SON OF MAN: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until THE DAY that Noah ENTERED THE ARK, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise, as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but ON THE DAY that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in THE DAY when the SON OF MAN is revealed.” (Luke 17:24-30)
- IN CHRIST’S DAY: “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be CAUGHT UP (harpazō: to snatch away) TOGETHER with them in the clouds TO MEET THE LORD IN THE AIR. And thus, we shall always be with the Lord.” (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17) This is the PRE–TRIBULATION rapture…
- IN NOAH’S DAY: Did Noah see any rain or flooding or destruction? NO! He was taken up PRE–FLOOD! “…as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, UNTIL THE DAY THAT NOAH ENTERED THE ARK, THEN…the flood came and destroyed them all.” (Luke 17:26-27)
- IN LOT’S DAY: Did Lot see any fire and brimstone raining down? NO! He was taken up PRE–BRIMSTONE! “…on THE DAY that LOT WENT OUT OF SODOM it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.” (Luke 17:9)
As He is teaching about His coming to “catch up” His church, Jesus tells us this, “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree (“When I found Israel, it was like seeing the early fruit on the fig tree.” (Hosea 9:10)): As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. Truly I tell you, THIS GENERATION (“The days of our lives are seventy years; And if by reason of strength they are eighty years…” (Psalms 90:10)) WILL CERTAINLY NOT PASS AWAY UNTIL ALL THESE THINGS HAVE HAPPENED. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.” (Matthew 24:32-35)
