“BEWARE, brethren, lest there be in any of you AN EVIL HEART OF UNBELIEF IN DEPARTING FROM THE LIVING GOD; but EXHORT ONE ANOTHER DAILY, while it is called “TODAY,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we have become partakers of Christ IF WE HOLD THE BEGINNING OF OUR CONFIDENCE STEADFAST TO THE END…“ (Heb. 3:12-15) The saddest word in the Bible is the word “unbelief” for it is the root of sin. The reason of Eve’s then, Adam’s disobedience IS UNBELIEF. Essentially, THEY DID NOT BELIEVE GOD’S WORD. So, they willfully sinned against God!!! Then passed that sinful nature to all of us. Here is the reason for this sadness, “God is not a man, THAT HE SHOULD LIE…” (Num. 23:19) “…it is IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD TO LIE…” (Heb. 6:18) Jesus said, “…Your word (God) IS TRUTH.” (John 17:17) Then Jesus said, “I am the way, THE TRUTH, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6) We’re told concerning our worship, “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him MUST WORSHIP IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH.” (John 4:24) Then our part, we must,
STAND FIRM THEN, WITH THE BELT OF TRUTH BUCKLED AROUND YOUR WAIST…(Eph. 6:14)
