“Am I a God NEAR AT HAND,” says the LORD, “And NOT A GOD AFAR OFF?” (Jer. 23:23) The Septuagint and Arabic versions render it like this: “I am a God near, says the Lord, and not afar off”
God is a present help in time of trouble; HE IS ALWAYS NEAR US, to hear our cries, and grant our requests; God is near to give us assistance in a time of need, and to deliver us out of all our troubles; to afford us HIS GRACIOUS PRESENCE, and to comfort us in communion with Him; to communicate all good things to us; to speak comfortably with us; to take us by the hand, and lead us in the way everlasting. “God Himself has said, “I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU OR 1FORSAKE YOU.” (Heb. 13:5) 1egkataleipō: abandon, leave behind. “O LORD, You have searched me and known me. You are acquainted with all my ways. You have 2hedged me behind and before, And laid Your hand upon me. If I…dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, Even there Your hand shall lead me, And YOUR RIGHT HAND SHALL HOLD ME.” (Psa. 139:1-10) 2tsûr: to confine, secure. With your right hand Lord you confine me and secure me.
…I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, EVEN TO THE END OF THE WORLD. AMEN…(Matt. 28:20)
