“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, even to the end of the age.” (Matt. 28:19-20)
This wonderful promise is for to us today. Jesus promised that He would be with us, even until the end of the world. There is nothing that can separate us from His love. Regardless of our situations, we must know and have confidence that Jesus is with us always.
Our Abba Father reminded us of this awesome promise: “…God has said, ‘NEVER WILL I LEAVE YOU; NEVER WILL I FORSAKE YOU.’” (Heb. 13:5)
He continuously reinforces our confidence with this: “…do not be afraid. I AM WITH YOU. Do not be terrified. I am your God. I will make you strong and help you. My powerful right hand will take good care of you. I always do what is right.” (Isaiah 41:10 NIrV)
OK, He is with us but how close? “…you will know that I am in My Father, and YOU IN ME, and I IN YOU.”(John 14:20)
Wow, Jesus is really in us? Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love him. We will come to him and MAKE OUR HOME WITH HIM.” (John 14:23)
Jesus wanted to reassure us even more with this promise: “I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be WITH YOU FOREVER; that is the Spirit of truth [the Holy Spirit], whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and WILL BE IN YOU.” (John 14:16-17)
