The LORD said, “The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and THEIR SIN SO GRIEVOUS.” (Gen. 18:20) So He sent two angels to destroy Sodom. The two angels arrived at Sodom where they met Lot who strongly encouraged them to come and stay in his home for the night. “Before they had gone to bed, ALL THE MEN from every part of the city of Sodom—both young and old—SURROUNDED THE HOUSE. They called to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us SO THAT WE CAN (1know them) HAVE SEX WITH THEM.” (Gen. 19:4-5) 1yâda‛, This word is defined by, “Cain knew (yâda‛) his wife; and she conceived…” (Gen. 4:17) Paul wrote, “…although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God…For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, MEN WITH MEN COMMITTING WHAT IS SHAMEFUL…” (Romans 1:21, 26-27)
This is a subject of very great controversy and many say that Jesus never talked about it, but, Jesus said, “Haven’t you read,” He replied, “that at the beginning the Creator made them MALE AND FEMALE, and said, For this reason a man (male) will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife (female), and the TWO (male & female) WILL BECOME ONE FLESH?” (Matt. 19:4-5)
