Making Tremendous Power Available!

“…The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]. Elijah was a human being with a nature such as we have [ with feelings, affections, and a constitution like ours] and he prayed earnestly for it not to rain, and no rain fell on the earth for three years and six months. And he prayed again and the heavens supplied rain and the land produced its crops.” (James 5:16-18 Amp.)

The prayer of the believer should be earnest and fervent THAT IT MAY RELEASE THE MIGHTY FORCE OF GOD. It is now clearly revealed that the heartfelt and continued prayer of a righteous man avails much. It releases the miracle working power of God just as Elisha’s prayer closed the heaven, and after three and half years opened it again. The reality of this truth should motivate us to be earnest and fervent when we pray over issues.

Embolden our faith to PRAY AND EXPECT the supernatural manifestation of God. The weaknesses of our humanness should not deter us. Elijah had human feelings and affections. Yet his prayers stopped rain from falling, and three and half years after gave rain to the earth.

  • Now use this key in prayer. Through those prayers, release the power of Christ to unlock doors and gates, release the power to close gates. Our earnest prayer will cause the power of God to be mightily demonstrated.
  • The earnest prayer of the righteous is not measured in time, rather in the fervency of his heart. The prayer should be heartfelt and consistent. Elijah asked his servant to look for signs of rain up to seven times. Do not give up, just pray with expectation.
  • “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, IF WE DO NOT GIVE UP.” (Galatians 6:9)

PRAYER
Our Father, thank You for the Spirit of prayer and supplication working in us. Let the doors of our favor and fruitfulness be opened now, and every door against us be shut. In Jesus name.

Be blessed, Bill Stockham
