“NOTHING IN ALL CREATION IS HIDDEN FROM GOD’S SIGHT. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.” (Heb. 4:13) God is omniscient (all-knowing). He knows everything: everything possible, everything actual; all events, all creatures, God the past, the present and the future. HE IS PERFECTLY ACQUAINTED WITH EVERY DETAIL in the life of every being in heaven, in earth and in hell. “You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. You search my path and my lying down, and are ACQUAINTED WITH ALL MY WAYS.” (Psa. 139:2-3) Here is encouragement to prayer. There is no cause for fearing that our petitions as the righteous will not be heard, or that our sighs and tears shall escape the notice of God, since He knows the thoughts and intents of the heart. “Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon me, and He told me to say, “I know what you are saying, for I KNOW EVERY THOUGHT THAT COMES INTO YOUR MINDS.” (Ezek. 11:5) It may seem that we do not have a say in what we want to do but God inspired Israel’s leader, Joshua to present this to God’s people, “…if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, CHOOSE FOR YOURSELVES this day whom you will serve, AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE, WE WILL SERVE THE LORD.” (Jos. 24:15)
CHOOSE WISELY, THIS IS AN ETERNAL CHOICE…
