“But of that day and hour NO ONE KNOWS, not even the angels of heaven, but MY FATHER ONLY. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, SO ALSO will the COMING of the Son of Man be.” (Matt. 24:36-39) I have seen several “End of The World” Countdown clocks, many people may think they know but Jesus Christ, The Word of God, God the Son and the creator of all things says “But of that day and hour NO ONE KNOWS” So, how will we know when to be ready? If we are asking that question I think Paul would answer it like this “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die…COME BACK TO YOUR SENSES as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God—I say this to your shame.” (1 Corin. 15:32, 34) Paul is teaching that if were wondering how much time we have left for fleshly pleasure, we are asking the wrong questions, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, NOW is the time of God’s favor, NOW IS THE DAY OF SALVATION.” (2 Corin. 6:2)
Jesus, on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, He stood up to read, and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. “The SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS ON ME, because He has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” Then He rolled up the scroll. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on Him. He said,
