LORD, Lord, lord…

“Abraham said, My 2Lord, if now I have found favor in Your sight, do not pass away, I pray, from Your servant. Then THE 1LORD said, “I will return to you about this time next year, and your wife, Sarah, will have a son! Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After my being old, shall I have pleasure, my 3lord being old also? Then the LORD said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh? Why did she say, ‘Can an old woman like me have a baby?’ IS ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR THE LORD? (Gen. 18:3, 10-14)  1LORD: yehôvâh, self-existent, self-sufficient, Omnipresent, eternal  2Lord: ‘ădônây, My Lord,  3lord: ‘âdôn, master, owner.

How do we see the Lord God Almighty? In this interchange of conversation we see God referring to Himself as LORD, YEHOVAH, the Omnipotent, Omnipresent, Omniscient being. Abraham sees God as Lord, ADONAY, My Lord, my master. Then Sarah sees Abraham as lord, ADON, owner. The point is, WE MUST SEE GOD FOR WHO HE REALLY IS, in all of His magnificence and glory! Realizing that NOTHING IS TOO HARD for God to accomplish in our lives.

WITH OUR ALMIGHTY GOD, NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE
