John the revelator, “…saw a mighty angel proclaiming, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?” But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it…but See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah (Jesus), the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.” (Rev. 5:2-5)
This is the sixth seal, the first five destroyed about TWO BILLION people. “…the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. They called to the mountains and the rocks, “FALL ON US AND HIDE US from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the WRATH OF THE LAMB! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?” (Rev. 6:15-17) Then, “The first angel sounded: And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up. Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, And a third of the living creatures in the sea died. Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch…The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter.” (Rev. 8:7-11)
There are people who believe that the Church will not be raptured until after all of this AMANDA! My first response to this is what Jesus said “WATCH therefore, and PRAY always that you may be counted WORTHY TO ESCAPE all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:36) And, “God DID NOT APPOINT US TO WRATH, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ…” (1 Thess. 5:9) And, “…to wait for His Son from heaven, even Jesus who DELIVERS US FROM THE WRATH to come.” (1 Thess. 1:10)
Jesus said this about His coming for us, “…as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were EATING AND DRINKING, MARRYING AND GIVING IN MARRIAGE, until THE DAY that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” (Matt. 24:37-39) If this happened during the tribulation where billions of people have died, the earth has been scorched with fire, most of the sea life has been destroyed, there will not be “marrying and giving in marriage.”
