“LORD, who can live IN YOUR SACRED TENT? Who can stay ON YOUR HOLY HILL?
Anyone who lives WITHOUT BLAME and does what is right. He SPEAKS THE TRUTH from his heart.
He doesn’t TELL LIES ABOUT OTHERS. He doesn’t DO WRONG TO HIS NEIGHBORS. He doesn’t say ANYTHING BAD ABOUT THEM.
He speaks out AGAINST SIN, CRITICIZES THOSE COMMITTING IT, commends the FAITHFUL FOLLOWERS of the Lord, KEEPS A PROMISE even if it ruins him.
He LENDS HIS MONEY without charging too much interest. He doesn’t accept money TO HARM those who aren’t guilty.
Anyone who lives like that WILL ALWAYS BE SECURE.” (Psalms 15:1-5)
If we want to live in GOD’S SACRED DWELLING ON HIS HOLY HILL, then we must be blameless and truthful. We must not spread lies and do wrong to those around us, we must speak out against sin and be faithful followers of Jesus Christ our Lord, always keeping our promises. We must lend to the poor and live harmless lives, knowing that WE WILL HAVE GODLY SECURITY. Because “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will FEAR NO EVIL, for YOU ARE WITH ME; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” (Psalms 23:4)
