As I was praying this morning I was inspired to sing this song,
O Lord my God,
When I in awesome wonder
Consider all
The works Thy Hand hath made,
I see the stars,
I hear the mighty thunder,
Thy pow’r throughout
The universe displayed,
Then sings my soul,
My Savior God, to Thee,
How GREAT Thou art!
“I waited patiently for the LORD to help me, and He turned to me and heard my cry. He LIFTED ME OUT of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He SET MY FEET ON SOLID GROUND and steadied me as I walked along. He has given me A NEW SONG TO SING, a hymn of praise to our God. MANY WILL SEE what he has done AND BE AMAZED. They will PUT THEIR TRUST IN THE LORD.” (Psa. 40:1-3) My prayer is that YOU will see and BE AMAZED and put your trust IN GOD!!!
“MANY, LORD my God, are THE WONDERS you have done, the things you planned for us. NONE CAN COMPARE WITH YOU; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be TOO MANY TO DECLARE. Then I said, “Here I am, I have come—I desire TO DO YOUR WILL, MY GOD; your Word is within my heart.” (Psa. 40:5, 7-8) How important this is, “I have HIDDEN YOUR WORD IN MY HEART, that I might not sin against you.” (Psa. 119:11)
These wonderful words HIDDEN in your heart, “Repeat them AGAIN and AGAIN to YOUR CHILDREN. TALK ABOUT THEM when you are at HOME and when you are on the ROAD, when you are GOING TO BED and when you are GETTING UP.” (Deut. 6:4-9)
