“SEARCH (châqar: to examine thoroughly) ME, God, and know my heart; TEST (bâchan: try me) ME and know my anxious thoughts. SEE IF THERE IS ANY OFFENSIVE (‛ôtseb: any wicked way) WAY IN ME, and LEAD ME in the way everlasting.” (Psalms 139:23-24) I plan to and desire to make it to the time when you call me home so Lord, examine me thoroughly and put me to the test to make sure there is NO WICKEDNESS IN ME.
“Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds. WOE TO THE WICKED! Disaster is upon them! They will be PAID BACK for what their hands have done.” (Isaiah 3:10-11) “…the wicked are like the tossing sea, which cannot rest, whose waves cast up mire and mud. “THERE IS NO PEACE,” says my God, “FOR THE WICKED.” (Isaiah 57:20-21)
Thank God for His mercy toward us, “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, HE IS PATIENT WITH YOU, NOT WANTING ANYONE TO PERISH, but EVERYONE TO COME TO REPENTANCE.” (2 Peter 3:9) “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and WILL FORGIVE US OUR SINS and purify us from ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS.” (1 John 1:9) Why will God do this for us? “For God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son so that anyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. God did not send His Son into the world to condemn it, but TO SAVE IT.” (John 3:16-17)
