Will, In times of emotional and life-altering decisions, it can be difficult to take a moment to listen to God’s voice in your heart as He shares what He desires for your life. Have you ever been scared, afraid or angry and done something you wish you wouldn’t have? Have you struggled meaninglessly over what you want from your life or what your calling really is? Discerning God’s will means learning to LISTEN TO GOD’S VOICE IN OUR HEARTS and following what He wants for us. Through discernment, we may practice being an active and engaged listener, strengthening our relationship with God through prayer and trusting that God would ONLY LEAD US DOWN THE RIGHT PATH. “You will show me the PATH OF LIFE; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” (Psalms 16:11)
When we look at the names of God we see that God is El Shaddai, (THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY), our all-sufficient and all-powerful sustainer who triumphs over every obstacle and all opposition. Not only is God the source of our provision and able to satisfy our every need, but He also can bless that provision too. But it’s up to us to align ourselves with His Word. I’m praying for you Will.
