“When Jesus entered the synagogue leader’s house and saw the noisy crowd and people playing pipes, He said, “GO AWAY. THE GIRL IS NOT DEAD BUT ASLEEP.” But THEY LAUGHED AT HIM. After the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took the girl by the hand, and SHE GOT UP. (Matt. 9:23-25).
Would we ever laugh at Jesus, OF COURSE NOT! But, do you know that when we have unbelief WE ARE LAUGHING AT JESUS! Think about this, from the very beginning of our knowledge of God (in the book of Geneses), every command of God, every *WORD He spoke, INSTANTLY EXISTED! God said “let there be…” and there it was! Everything, instantly! Nothing is impossible for God, nothing is too hard for the Lord!!!
“Jesus was going through all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom, and HEALING EVERY KIND OF DISEASE AND EVERY KIND OF SICKNESS.” (Matt. 9:35)
WHO IS THIS JESUS? “In the beginning was the *WORD, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being…And THE WORD BECAME FLESH, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:1-3, 14) “Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. For BY HIM ALL THINGS WERE CREATED, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities–all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.” (Col. 1:15-17) “(God) in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, THROUGH WHOM ALSO HE MADE THE WORLD. And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by THE WORD OF HIS POWER. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high…” (Heb. 1:2-3)
This is the same Jesus “…who gave Himself for our sins so that He might RESCUE US from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father…” (Gal. 1:3-4)
This is the same Jesus who said “Are you still lacking in understanding?” (Matt. 15:16)
Join with me in reaffirming our belief in the awesomeness of Jesus Christ our Lord, allowing no more “laughing” with unbelief! “Truly, truly, I say to you, HE WHO BELIEVES IN ME, the works that I do, HE WILL DO ALSO; and GREATER WORKS THAN THESE HE WILL DO; because I go to the Father. “Whatever you ask in My name, THAT WILL I DO, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. “IF YOU ASK ME ANYTHING IN MY NAME, I WILL DO IT.” (John 14:12-14)
