The Lord very graciously says to us: “…KEEP MY WORDS IN YOUR HEARTS AND MINDS. Write them down and tie them on your hands as a reminder…teach them to your children. Talk about them when you are at home. Talk about them when you walk along the road. Speak about them when you go to bed. And speak about them when you get up.” (Deut. 11:18-19) The most important instructions we have ever received is the Word of God yet we often ignore it!
“How can a young person keep his life pure? BY LIVING ACCORDING TO YOUR WORD. I trust in you with all my heart. Don’t let me wander away from your commands. I have HIDDEN YOUR WORD IN MY HEART so that I won’t sin against you. LORD, I give praise to you. Teach me your instructions.” (Psa. 119:9-12) Jesus is known as: “Faithful and True. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and HIS NAME IS THE WORD OF GOD.” (Rev. 19:11-13) You see my very dear brothers and sisters when we hide God’s Word in our hearts we are committing ourselves to a more intimate relationship with Jesus because HE IS THE WORD!
GIVE US THE DESIRE AND EMPOWER US LORD TO HIDE YOUR WORD IN OUR HEARTS…
