This is all from Isaiah 55:6-9 AIDAN:
- SEEK THE LORD WHILE HE MAY BE FOUND: “Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” (Jer. 29:12-13)
- CALL UPON HIM WHILE HE IS NEAR: “God’s purpose was for the nations to SEEK after God and perhaps feel their way toward Him and find Him—though HE IS NOT FAR from any one of us.” (Acts 17:27)
- LET THE WICKED FORSAKE HIS WAY, AND THE UNRIGHTEOUS MAN HIS THOUGHTS: “From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matt. 4:17) The word “repent” used in this verse means: “to think differently”. To repent is to CHANGE YOUR MIND.
- LET HIM RETURN TO THE LORD, AND HE WILL HAVE MERCY ON HIM: The Lord Said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before you. I will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.” (Exo. 33:19)
- OUR GOD, WILL ABUNDANTLY PARDON: “You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And ABUNDANT IN MERCY to all those who call upon You.” (Psa. 86:5)
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD. “My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts…Here is what will happen, “…you shall go out with joy, And be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills Shall break forth into singing before you, And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.” (Isaiah 55:6-9, 12)
