JESUS YOU ARE MORE THAN ENOUGH FOR AMY…

AMY, this song spoke to my heart this morning. It reminded me of the OVERWHELMING ABILITY of our Jesus to always do more than enough for whatever we need…

You hold my very moment
You calm my raging seas
You walk with me through fire
And heal all my disease
I trust in You, I trust in You

And I believe You’re my healer
I believe You are all I need
I believe

  1. You hold my very moment: When we say “at that very moment,” it means a change occurred then. But it doesn’t mean that the change only lasted a moment. When we get saved, or we are delivered from some stronghold in our life, these can be life changing events. if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, ALL THINGS HAVE BECOME NEW. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation…” (2 Corin. 5:17-18)
  2. You calm my raging seas: Remember when Peter got out of the boat and started walking on the raging seas? He took his eyes off of Jesus and started to sink And IMMEDIATELY Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” (Matt. 14:31) We must learn to LOOK TO and TRUST IN Jesus…
  3. You walk with me through fire: Our trusting in Jesus is of the utmost importance Will, There is nothing too hard for Him to do. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, YOU SHALL NOT BE BURNED, Nor shall the flame scorch you. (Isaiah 43:2)
  4. And heal all my disease: We live in a wounded and hurting world, and without healing, life would be more painful than it needs to be. To heal is to restore something or someone to soundness or health, to alleviate distress or anguish, or to correct an undesirable situation. …Jesus was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and WITH HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED(Isaiah 53:5) This does not say “might be, could be or should be”  it says WE ARE HEALED
