“Since the children have flesh and blood, Jesus too shared in their humanity so that by His death He might break the power of him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil— and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death…For this reason JESUS HAD TO BE MADE LIKE THEM, FULLY HUMAN IN EVERY WAY…that He might make atonement for the sins of the people. Because HE HIMSELF SUFFERED when He was tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted.” (Heb. 2:13-18)
Jesus did not become “fully human” so He would know what it is like, NO. He became fully human so WE WOULD KNOW that He suffered as man and not as God. Jesus never stopped being “fully God” but for our sakes He became “fully human”. I really have no idea how to completely explain this but I do, by faith, accept it. Knowing that it will be revealed to us when we are finally together with the Lord! The Lord God Almighty did everything He could do to prove His love for us. He made such an awesome sacrifice, way beyond our ability to understand, so we could be redeemed, and then adopted by God to become His children, His heirs and co-heirs with Jesus Christ our Lord…
