“Even if you go and fight courageously in battle, God will overthrow you before the enemy, for GOD HAS THE POWER TO HELP OR TO OVERTHROW.” (2 Chron. 25:8) [King Amaziah: “…did that which was right in the eyes of the Lord…”. Finding his own kingdom faulty in the number of men, he thought to make up the deficiency with his money, and therefore took into his pay 100,000 Israelites, to help him against the Arameans!] “But a man of God came to him and said, “Your Majesty, these troops from Israel must not march with you, for THE LORD IS NOT WITH ISRAEL–not with any of the people of Ephraim.” (2 Chron. 25:7) [We can choose to do things “our way” or “God’s way”, but; if we want His help we better obey him!] “Amaziah asked the man of God, “But what about the hundred talents I paid for these Israelite troops?” The man of God replied, “THE LORD CAN GIVE YOU MUCH MORE THAN THAT.” So Amaziah dismissed the troops who had come to him from Ephraim and sent them home…” (2 Chron. 25:9-10) [Amaziah did it God’s way and had a great victory!] “Amaziah then marshaled his strength and led his army to the Valley of Salt…” (2 Chron. 25:11) [So, what is our best plan of action for the battle we’re facing?] “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to OFFER YOUR BODIES AS A LIVING SACRIFICE, holy and pleasing to God–THIS IS YOUR TRUE AND PROPER WORSHIP. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–his good, pleasing and perfect will.” (Rom. 12:1-2) [Become a living sacrifice for Our Abba Fathers service and be holy and pleasing to God!] “Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to DO WHAT IS RIGHT IN THE EYES OF EVERYONE. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, LIVE AT PEACE WITH EVERYONE.” (Rom. 12:17-18) [Be a peace maker!] “I will declare your name to my people; IN THE ASSEMBLY I WILL PRAISE YOU. You who fear the LORD, praise him…” (Psa. 22:22-23)
Be blessed as you praise The Lord, knowing that:
WE CAN PRAISE YOU LORD AS WE LIVE A HOLY LIFE, PLEASING TO YOU!
