I feel led to make an appeal for this generation to live up to the purpose and become what we are destined to be. “All or Nothing” must be our battle cry; a cry to rally and stir up this generation that we will give God our ALL OR NOTHING AT ALL. We must be the generation that does not make Christ simply a part of our lives, but a generation that MAKES JESUS CHRIST THE FOCUS OF EVERYTHING WE DO.
Jesus said this to the church at Laodicea, “I know what you are doing. I know you aren’t cold or hot. I wish you were either one or the other! But you are lukewarm. You aren’t hot or cold. So, I am going to SPIT (vomit) YOU OUT OF MY MOUTH.” (Rev. 3:15-16)
We live in a generation where indifference is the norm, not the exception. We are known for our addiction to video games, lack of interest, and irresponsibility. Researchers suggest that this is the most biblically illiterate generation in history! We must be the generation THAT CHANGES ALL THIS.
“So, here’s My advice. Buy from Me gold made pure by fire. Then you will become rich. Buy from Me white clothes to wear. Then you will be able to cover your shameful nakedness. And buy from Me healing lotion to put on your eyes. THEN YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SEE.” (Rev. 3:18)
When Jesus tells us the most important commandment is “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength” remember this is not a suggestion but a command. The only ability God requires of us is availability. We must have the desire that when we stand before Christ on that day and have Him say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Let’s be the generation that says, “God, I will give you my all because you are worthy of it.”
The generation that says: IT’S ALL OR NOTHING…
