Jesus made this profound statement, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but MY WORDS WILL NEVER pass away.” (Matthew 24:35)
The Bible declares this about Jesus, “In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with God, and the WORD WAS GOD. ALL THINGS WERE MADE BY HIM; and without Him was not anything made that was made.” (John 1:1-3) Just who was this WORD? Look at verse 14, “…the WORD was MADE FLESH, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of THE ONLY BEGOTTEN (monogenēs: one-and-only; one of a kind) of the Father) full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14)
So, who is this? “God so loved the world that He gave HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send HIS SON into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him MIGHT BE SAVED.” (John 3:16-17) Jesus is the ONLY BEGOTTEN SON of God, but it says, “ALL THINGS WERE MADE BY HIM” Does this mean that the world was created by Jesus? The Father has, “…delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of HIS DEAR SON: In whom we have redemption through HIS BLOOD, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For BY HIM (the Son) WERE ALL THINGS CREATED, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: ALL THINGS WERE CREATED BY HIM, and for Him: And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.” (Colossians 1:13-17)
Paul says, “…to us there is but one God, the Father, OF whom are all things, and we in Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, BY WHOM ARE ALL THINGS, and we by Him.” (1 Corinthians 8:6) “God, who at various times and in distinct manners said in time past to the fathers by the prophets, Has in these last days spoken unto us by HIS SON, whom He has appointed heir of all things, BY WHOM ALSO HE MADE THE WORLDS…” (Hebrews 1:1-2)
For example, on the 4th day, “Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so. Then GOD MADE TWO GREAT LIGHTS: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. HE MADE THE STARS ALSO.” (Genesis 1:14-16) In October 2016, deep-field images from the Hubble Space Telescope suggested that there are about 2 trillion galaxies in the observable universe, Christopher Conselice, a professor of astrophysics at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom, said there were about 100 million stars in the average galaxy. So, whatever 2 trillion times 100 million equals? All of this spoken into existence in ONE DAY!!!
This all happened by words spoken by our Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST! DO YOU THINK HE WOULD HAVE ANY PROBLEM ASSURING THAT WE HAVE AN ACCURATE BIBLE TO TRUST IN?
