IN TIMES OF ANXIETY AND UNCERTAINTY AMY…

When we’re feeling anxious, just proclaim,I know that the LORD is ALWAYS WITH ME. He is at my right hand. I will ALWAYS BE SECURE.(Psalms 16:8) If there is any uncertainty, Truly my soul SILENTLY WAITS for God; From Him comes my salvation. (Psa. 62:1-2) Why is my soul silent? Because I’m not crying out, WHY is this going to happen? WHAT IF that takes place? WHAT WILL I do if… because, From Him comes my salvation. He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense; I shall not be GREATLY MOVEDMy soul, WAIT SILENTLY for God alone, For my expectation is from Him. (Psa. 62:3-5)

It’s in the moments that we don’t know what’s going to happen next that Jesus calls us TO LEAN ON HIM. When we call on Jesus in the midst of trouble WE FIND PEACE. These are the opportunities for us to TRUST HIM in the middle of our uncertainty and stand strong in His plan. Too often we lean on our own understanding in situations and miss what He’s trying to show us. We miss that fact that God has already provided a solution to every situation we face. Our focus shouldn’t be on solving the problem but the listening to the lesson He’s teaching us. TRUST in the LORD with all your heart; DO NOT DEPEND on your own understanding. SEEK God’s will in all you do, and He will SHOW YOU which path to take.(Prov. 3:5-6)

The Lord said this to Joshua, Have I not COMMANDED you? Be strong and of good courage; DO NOT be afraid, NOR BE dismayed, for the LORD your God IS WITH YOU WHEREVER YOU GO.” (Josh. 1:9)

Just in case you’re wondering HOW OFTEN we can call upon and trust in the Lord?

TRUST IN HIM AT ALL TIMES, AMY; POUR OUT YOUR HEART BEFORE HIM; GOD IS A REFUGE FOR US…(Psalms 62:8)
