Our Abba Father’s holy nature is ever willing to show favor TOWARD US. Wherever He sees misery, it has an effect on His heart. When there is even the greatest provocation our Abba Father manifests His love toward us. God is great in His ABUNDANT MERCY. These four things give us a wonderful demonstration of the goodness of His Divine nature! “The LORD is GRACIOUS AND COMPASSIONATE, SLOW TO ANGER AND RICH IN LOVE. THE LORD IS GOOD TO ALL; He has compassion on ALL HE HAS MADE.” (Psalms 145:8-9) No matter the time in history or its people, God has always manifested His sympathetic ruling power. “Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD IS TRUSTWORTHY in all He promises AND FAITHFUL in all He does.” (Psalms 145:13) No one falls through their own weakness; if we rely on God, the strongest adversary cannot shake us. What a fine character! Just as young animals look up to their parents for food. God is here represented as the universal Father, providing food for every living creature. WHAT A HAND IS THIS that holds in it all the food that meets the desires and necessities of every living thing? “THE LORD UPHOLDS ALL WHO FALL and lifts up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food at the proper time. YOU OPEN YOUR HAND AND SATISFY THE DESIRES OF EVERY LIVING THING.” (Psalms 145:14-16) Jesus told the Jewish leaders after healing the lame man at the pool of Bethesda! “Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.” (John 5:19)
Whoever calls upon our Abba Father in truth, with a sincere and decent heart, one that truthfully desires his salvation, GOD IS NEAR TO THAT PERSON! The following verse shows he is not only near to praying people, but:
- He will hear their cry
- He will fulfil their desires
- He will save them.
So, lift up your soul in prayer to our merciful Abba Father! “The LORD watches over all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy. My mouth will speak in praise of the LORD. LET EVERY CREATURE PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME FOR EVER AND EVER.” (Psalms 145:20-21)
OUR ABBA FATHER FULFILLS THE DESIRES OF THOSE WHO FEAR HIM!
