[When Jesus was asked “Which is the most important commandment?” He answered:] “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with ALL your heart and with ALL your soul and with ALL your mind and with ALL your strength.’ The second is this: ‘LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ There is NO COMMANDMENT GREATER THAN THESE.” (Mark 12:29-31) [Today I WILL love the Lord my God with ALL my heart, soul, mind and strength and I WILL love my “near ones” as myself!] “This is the day that the LORD has made; LET US REJOICE AND BE GLAD IN IT.“ (Psa. 118:24) [Today I WILL rejoice and be glad in this day!] “Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; for HIS STEADFAST LOVE ENDURES FOREVER!” (Psa. 118:29) [Today I WILL acknowledge and thank my Abba Father for His love today and know that He always will love me!] “…WHEN YOU PRAY, go into your room, close the door and PRAY TO YOUR FATHER, WHO IS UNSEEN. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” (Matt. 6:6) [Today I WILL pray knowing that my Abba Father hears and will answer my prayers!] “Blessed rather are those WHO HEAR THE WORD OF GOD AND OBEY IT.” (Luke 11:28) [Today I WILL read the word of God and obey it!] “So DO NOT WORRY, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But SEEK FIRST HIS KINGDOM AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matt. 6:31-33) [Today I WILL not worry about the needs I have, instead I WILL seek first (pursue, look for) God’s kingdom and His righteousness!] “…when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” (Matt. 6:3-4) [Today I WILL give to help (in whatever way I can) to someone in need!] “…let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matt. 5:16) [Today I WILL let my light shine so others will be blessed and my Abba Father will be glorified!]
Be blessed as you praise The Lord, knowing that WHEN WE PRAY, GO INTO OUR ROOM, CLOSE THE DOOR AND PRAY TO OUR FATHER, WHO IS UNSEEN. THEN OUR FATHER, WHO SEES WHAT IS DONE IN SECRET, WILL REWARD US!
