“My child, pay attention to my words; listen attentively to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your sight, GUARD THEM WITHIN YOUR HEART (“I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.” (Psalms 119:11)); for THEY ARE LIFE (“…the word of God is alive and powerful…” (Hebrews 4:12)) to those who find them AND HEALING (“Trust in the LORD with all your heart…Seek his will…fear the LORD and turn away from evil. Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones.” (Proverbs 3:5-8)) to one’s entire body. Guard your heart with all vigilance (Why is keeping your heart important? The heart is the wellspring of life. From it flow the springs of life.), for from it are the sources of life. Remove perverse speech (“A gentle tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness (seleph: crookedness) in it breaks the spirit.” (Proverbs 15:4)) from your mouth; keep devious talk far from your lips. Let your eyes look directly in front of you (“Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how He did it. Because He never lost sight of where He was headed…” (Hebrews 12:2)) and let your gaze look straight before you. Make the path for your feet level, so that all your ways may be established (“Trust GOD from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for GOD‘s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; He’s the one who will keep you on track.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)). Do not turn to the right or to the left; turn yourself away from evil.” (Proverbs 4:20-27)
