I GIVE THANKS FOR REDEMPTION…

Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy…the Lord led them forth by the right wayOh, that men would GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men! (Psa. 107:2, 7-8) When Jesus went to Calvary’s Cross, He willingly traded His flawless life for ours. Our life was riddled with guilt and shame, and yet the STENCH AND FILTH OF OUR SINS was instantly traded for a ROBE OF PUREST WHITE. We gained the opportunity to have our name written in the Lamb’s Book of Life by accepting Christ as our Savior and earning eternal salvation.

“Jesus will judge God’s people with righteousness, And God’s poor with justice… He will REDEEM OUR LIFE from oppression and violence…(Psa. 72:2, 14) As sinners, we should have been condemned to die. But Jesus, the precious Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, DIED IN OUR PLACE. He redeemed us from all unrighteousness and set us free from death, hell and the grave. OK so, what is redemption exactly? Redemption: 1the action of saving or being saved from sin, error, or evil. 2the action of regaining possession of something in exchange for payment, or clearing a debt. “Therefore if the Son makes you free, YOU SHALL BE FREE INDEED. (John 8:36)

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus ChristHE CHOSE US IN HIM before the foundation of the worldIn Him we have REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS BLOOD, the FORGIVENESS OF SINS, according to the riches of His grace.” (Eph. 1:3-7)

♫Sweet is the song
I am singing today
I’m redeemed!

I’m redeemed!
Trouble and sorrow have vanished away
I have been, I have been redeemed!

I’m redeemed by love divine
Glory, glory, Christ is mine,
Christ is mine
All to Him I now resign
I have been, I have been redeemed!
