I DID NOT JUST HAPPEN…

THIS “ME” WAS NO ACCIDENT…

Thank you for making me so WONDERFULLY COMPLEX! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.(Psa. 139:14) The discovery of our wonderfully complex DNA has caused many scientists to become believers no way it could have been by accident. God’s workmanship (ma`aseh: the project or undertaking of our amazing creation) is absolutely marvelous!

Dear Abba (daddy) Father, “You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You SAW ME before I was born. Every day of my life was RECORDED IN YOUR BOOK. EVERY MOMENT WAS LAID OUT before a single day had passed.” (Psa. 139:15-16) Our Abba Father lovingly and very personally created us and everything in our lives was very carefully planned out for us! Then God gave us the free will to chose what we wanted to do and was never angry if we choose something other than what He planned for us.

Sometimes, life can be so confusing and stressful that it can be hard for us to understand what God wants for us over the noise of the world and the sounds of all the obligations pulling at us. And the truth is, God knows what He wants for us is in control of our plans. He has the blueprint for our lives drawn up. He is guiding us and putting seeds in our hearts and, like a gardener, He waters the seeds He plants within our hearts. God SEES us, He HEARS us, and He ANSWERS our prayers. So, what should we do? Don’t just pretend to love others. REALLY LOVE THEM. HATE what is wrong. HOLD TIGHTLY to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other…When God’s people are in need, BE READY to help them. Always BE EAGER to practice hospitalityLive in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all!(Rom. 12:9-10, 13-16)
