“I can do ALL THINGS through Christ who strengthens me.” (Phil. 4:13) . When things are going bad the devil tempts us with this question, “If the foundations are destroyed, What can the righteous do?” (Psa. 11:3) This question was presented to David when Saul was trying to kill him. At this time the very foundations of law and justice were being destroyed under Saul’s unrighteous government, David responds, “…THE LORD IS RIGHTEOUS, He loves righteousness; His countenance beholds the upright.” (Psa. 11:7) God observes, He approves, He delights in the upright. He sees HIS OWN IMAGE IN THEM, an image of his own fashioning. “Then God said, ‘Let Us make man IN OUR IMAGE, according to Our likeness; let them HAVE 1DOMINION over everything on the earth.’“ (Gen. 1:26) 1radah: to rule, to dominate. God has created us to humbly and in righteousness, dominate His creation.
