“There is NO ONE righteous, NOT EVEN ONE…All have TURNED AWAY, they have together become WORTHLESS; there is no one who does good, NOT EVEN ONE.” (Romans 3:10-12)
“…for ALL HAVE SINNED and fall short of the glory of God…” (Romans 3:23)
“If we say that we have NO SIN, WE DECEIVE OURSELVES, and the truth is not in us.” (1 John 1:8)
“And you (we, all of us) were DEAD (our spiritual man) in the trespasses and sins…” (Ephesians 2:1) Because “…the wages of sin IS DEATH (thanatos: eternal separation from God) (Romans 6:23) But thankfully, “…the free gift of God is ETERNAL LIFE in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23) So, “If we CONFESS (to God) our sins, He is faithful and just to FORGIVE US OUR SINS and to CLEANSE US from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)
“God demonstrated HIS OWN LOVE for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ DIED FOR US.” (Romans 5:8)
So, how do we enter into a right relationship with Christ? “Now REPENT (change your mind and attitude to God) and turn to Him (change the way you live) so He can CLEANSE AWAY YOUR SINS and send you wonderful times of refreshment (a wonderful new life in Christ) from the presence of the Lord.” (Acts 3:19) “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be TRANSFORMED (metamorphoō: to be divinely changed into a godly form, a divine metamorphose) by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will.” (Romans 12:1-2)
THE LORD TRANSFORMED MY VERY FOUL MOUTH INTO A CLEAN MOUTH, MY DRUG AND ALCOHOL ADDICTED BODY INTO A CLEAN BODY. AFTER 51 YEARS I’M STILL WONDERFULLY TRANSFORMED!!!
