HE DOES WONDROUS DEEDS…

Give ear, O LORD, to my prayer; bend down and listen to my cry for help. In the day of my trouble I SHALL CALL UPON YOU, FOR YOU WILL ANSWER ME. There is NO ONE LIKE YOU, O Lord, Nor are there any works like Yours. All nations whom You have made shall come and worship before You, O Lord, And they shall glorify Your name. For YOU ARE GREAT and do WONDROUS (pala’: extraordinary, fantastic) DEEDS; You alone are God.(Psalms 86:6-10)

Jesus told the paralyzed man “your sins are forgiven” the religious leaders question Jesus’ authority to forgive sins. So, Jesus spoke healing to the man, and he got up folded up his mat and walked home!!! Everyone was gripped with great WONDER AND AWE, and they praised God, exclaiming, “We have seen amazing things today!” (Luke 5:26) This was an example of the Lords wonderous deeds! When we say that God is a GOD OF WONDERS, we mean that He is a God who carries out miraculous works. The Lord’s wonders declare His absolute control over events, people, and powers, and REVEAL HIS PRESENCE AMONG HIS PEOPLE. Jesus said “…you can be sure that I am always with you, to the very end.” (Matt. 28:20)

”We thank you, O God! We give thanks because you are near. People everywhere tell of your wonderful deeds.” (Psalms 75:1)

The three Hebrew children refused to bow down to the pagan statue of Nebuchadnezzar and he had them thrown into the extremely hot furnace and saw them dancing around in the fire, Then Nebuchadnezzar said, “Praise to the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego! He sent his angel to rescue his servants who trusted in him. They defied the king’s command and were WILLING TO DIE rather than serve or worship any god except their own God.(Daniel 3:28) King Nebuchadnezzar sent this message to the people throughout the world: “Peace and prosperity to you! “I want you all to know about the miraculous signs and wonders the Most High God has performed for me. How great are His signs, HOW POWERFUL HIS WONDERS! His kingdom will last forever, His rule through all generations. (Daniel 4:1-3)
