John declares, our fellowship is with THE FATHER, and with HIS SON Jesus Christ… ”This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that GOD IS LIGHT, and in Him there is NO DARKNESS AT ALL. If we say that we have fellowship with Him AND YET WALK IN THE DARKNESS, WE LIE and DO NOT PRACTICE THE TRUTH; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and THE BLOOD OF JESUS HIS SON CLEANSES US FROM ALL SIN. If we say that WE HAVE NO SIN, we are DECEIVING OURSELVES and the truth IS NOT IN US. ABOUT GOD BEING CAPABLE OF LYING! “God is not a man, that He SHOULD LIE, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” (Num. 23:19) “God also bound Himself with an oath, so that those who received the promise could be perfectly sure that He would NEVER CHANGE HIS MIND. So God has given both HIS PROMISE and HIS OATH. These two things ARE UNCHANGEABLE BECAUSE IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD TO LIE. Therefore, we who have fled to Him for refuge can have GREAT CONFIDENCE as we hold to the hope that lies before us.” (Hebrews 6:17-18) “This letter is from Paul, a slave of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ. I have been sent to PROCLAIM FAITH to those God has chosen and to teach them to KNOW THE TRUTH that shows them how to live godly lives.
