“…the eyes of the LORD search THE WHOLE EARTH to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him…” (2 Chron. 16:9) Becoming a committed Christian is important. It must involve a SERIOUS AND A GENUINE OBLIGATION to become a devoted disciple of Jesus Christ, in every part of our lives. We cannot be just a fan or spectator. When we make that decision to follow Jesus, WE NEED TO DO SO IN THE WAY THAT JESUS MEANT US TO. Jesus wants us to do far more than simply agree with Him or even believe in Him. He also wants us to HAND OUR ENTIRE LIVES OVER TO HIM and to follow after Him WITH TOTAL COMMITMENT. “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap…BUT I FOUND NO ONE.” (Ezek. 22:30)
We have been entrusted with the obligation to teach by instruction and example the truth of God’s Word, resulting in A DESIRE TO WALK OBEDIENTLY before the Lord in the power of the Holy Spirit. “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to OFFER YOUR BODIES AS A LIVING SACRIFICE, HOLY AND PLEASING TO GOD—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but BE TRANSFORMED BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will.” (Rom. 12:1-2)
WE FULFILL OUR OBLIGATION BECAUSE OF OUR TRANSFORMATION…
