Jeremiah loved the word of God! “When your words came, I ATE THEM; they were MY JOY AND MY HEART’S DELIGHT [enjoyment or pleasure], for I bear your name, O LORD God Almighty.” (Jer. 15:16) Our Abba Father says this about His Word! “As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed…and…SO IS MY WORD [remember, this is God speaking] that goes out from my mouth: IT WILL NOT RETURN TO ME EMPTY, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.“ (Isa. 55:10-11) Pretty much everything we are familiar with has a beginning and an ending, but: “Your word, O LORD, is eternal…” (Psa. 119:89) And, your word is: “…A LAMP TO MY FEET and a light for my path.” (Psa. 119:105) Not only that, but your word is: “…in my heart LIKE A FIRE…SHUT UP IN MY BONES…” (Jer. 20:9) Of course: “…YOUR WORD IS TRUTH.” (John 17:17) “…when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, HE WILL GUIDE YOU INTO ALL TRUTH…He will tell you what is yet to come.” (John 16:13) “…the word of God is quick [alive], and powerful, and SHARPER THAN ANY TWOEDGED SWORD, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner [To recognize or comprehend mentally] of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Heb. 4:12) Ok, so how will this wonderful word help US today? “How can a young man keep his way pure? BY LIVING ACCORDING TO YOUR WORD.” (Psa.119:9) And I think most importantly “All Scripture is GOD 1BREATHED…” (2 Timothy 3:16) 1theopneustos: to “breathed by God,”
WE CAN LIVE ACCORDING TO YOUR WORD TODAY LORD AND BE BLESSED WHILE WE ARE DOING IT!
