“LORD, you will give PERFECT PEACE to anyone who commits himself to be faithful to you. That’s because HE TRUSTS IN YOU.” (Isa. 26:3)
Inward peace, outward peace, peace with God, peace of conscience, peace at all times, under all events; Our Abba Father shall put this peace in our minds, and we will keep it in our possession, as long as our mind is ‘stayed’ (to lean upon or take hold of) on God, demonstrating our trust in him!
“Surely the righteous will NEVER BE SHAKEN; their HEARTS ARE STEADFAST, TRUSTING IN THE LORD.” (Psa. 112:6-8)
It is because of the Lord’s mercies that we kept from evil, but we must: “Trust in the LORD with ALL YOUR HEART, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will MAKE STRAIGHT YOUR PATHS.” (Prov. 3:5-6)
The Lord God Almighty, creator of all things desires to make our paths straight! WHO COULD DO A BETTER JOB THAN HIM?
“All this I have spoken while still with you. But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. PEACE I LEAVE WITH YOU; MY PEACE I GIVE YOU. I do not give to you as the world gives. DO NOT LET YOUR HEARTS BE TROUBLED AND DO NOT BE AFRAID.” (John 14:25-27)
We are so very blessed to possess this wonderful peace of God living IN US! It is described as PERFECT PEACE!
IN PEACE WE WILL LIE DOWN AND SLEEP, FOR YOU ALONE, LORD, MAKE US DWELL IN SAFETY.
