Jesus said to us, “…when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in THE SECRET PLACE; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.” (Matt. 6:6)
Where is the secret place?
“He who DWELLS (yâshab: to occupy) IN THE SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, IN HIM I WILL TRUST.” Surely He shall DELIVER YOU from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. He shall COVER YOU with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall NOT BE AFRAID of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day…If you make the LORD your refuge…your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For He will ORDER HIS ANGELS TO PROTECT YOU wherever you go.” (Psalms 91:1-5, 9-11)
