“LORD, you are my God. I will honor you. I will praise your name. You have been perfectly faithful. You have done wonderful things. YOU PLANNED THEM LONG AGO.” (Isaiah 25:1) David says it like this, “LORD, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I get up; You understand my thought from far away. You examine my path and my lying down, And are acquainted with all my ways. You have surrounded me behind and in front, And PLACED YOUR HAND UPON ME.” (Psalms 139:1-5) He NEVER lets us go!
Now, about the plans for us made LONG AGO, “You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit them together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! It is amazing to think about. Your workmanship is marvelous—and how well I know it. YOU WERE THERE WHILE I WAS BEING FORMED in utter seclusion! You saw me before I was born and SCHEDULED EACH DAY OF MY LIFE BEFORE I BEGAN TO BREATHE. EVERY DAY WAS RECORDED in your book!” (Psalms 139:13-16) Do we have to do God’s will, NO, probable most of us choose not to!!!
So, how do we do the will of G0d? “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you PRESENT YOUR BODY a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And DO NOT BE CONFORMED (suschēmatizō: to fashion alike) to this world, but BE TRANSFORMED (metamorphoō: God changes us completely in form like being changed to a butterfly) BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND, that YOU MAY PROVE WHAT IS THAT GOOD AND ACCEPTABLE AND PERFECT WILL OF GOD.” (Romans 12:1-2)
