“This is what the LORD says: “CURSED IS THE ONE WHO TRUSTS IN MAN, who draws strength from mere flesh and WHOSE HEART TURNS AWAY FROM THE LORD.” (Jeremiah 17:5) Over and over, the Qur’an affirms that Allah does not love the sinner. This is what Jesus says about that, “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, LOVE YOUR ENEMIES and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.” (Matthew 5:43-45)
This is the LORD GOD’S FIRST COMMANDMENT to us, “I AM THE LORD YOUR GOD, WHO BROUGHT YOU OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT, OUT OF THE HOUSE OF BONDAGE. YOU SHALL HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME. You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. YOU SHALL NOT BOW DOWN TO THEM OR WORSHIP THEM…” (Exodus 20:2-5)
“Blessed is the man who TRUSTS IN THE LORD, and whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit. “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; Who can know it? I, the LORD, SEARCH THE HEART, I TEST THE MIND, even to give every man ACCORDING TO HIS WAYS, ACCORDING TO THE FRUIT OF HIS DOINGS.” (Jeremiah 17:7-10) Bless us Lord when our hearts and minds are right with you!
