I have been greatly afflicted with shingles over this past week, right over my cancer surgery. Then the sad news that my sister-in-law suddenly went to be with the Lord. Sometimes we just want to say WOE IS ME! ‘You said, “Woe is me now! For the LORD has added grief to my sorrow. I fainted in my sighing, and I find no rest.” (Jeremiah 45:3)
But “Praise be to the LORD, for he has heard my cry for mercy. The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him. The LORD is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one.”
(Psalms 28:6-8)
