How faithful is God with His covenant with Abraham for Israel? “This is what the LORD says, He who gives THE SUN FOR LIGHT BY DAY and the FIXED ORDER OF THE MOON AND THE STARS FOR LIGHT BY NIGHT…If this FIXED ORDER departs From Me,” declares the LORD, “THEN the descendants of Israel also will cease to be a nation before Me forever.” (Jeremiah 31:35-36) IF HAMAS OR ANY OF THE ENEMIES OF ISRAEL, CAN FIGURE OUT A WAY TO PREVENT THE SUN, MOON AND STARS FROM PRODUCING LIGHT, THEN THEY CAN DEFEAT ISRAEL…
God made this promise TO HIS PEOPLE way back in the beginning, “Now, ISRAEL, LISTEN to the statutes and the judgments which I am teaching you to perform, so that you will LIVE AND GO IN AND TAKE POSSESSION OF THE LAND WHICH THE LORD, THE GOD OF YOUR FATHERS, IS GIVING YOU…But from there you will seek the LORD YOUR GOD, and you will find Him IF YOU SEARCH FOR HIM WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND ALL YOUR SOUL. “When you are in distress and all these things happen to you, in the latter days you will return to the LORD YOUR GOD and listen to His voice. “For the LORD YOUR GOD is a compassionate God; He will NOT ABANDON YOU NOR DESTROY YOU, nor FORGET THE COVENANT with your fathers WHICH HE (God) SWORE TO THEM.” (Deuteronomy 4:1, 29-31) It was God who SWORE THE COVENANT with His chosen ones.
“I AM THE LORD; that is My name; My glory I give to no other, nor My praise to carved idols. Behold, THE FORMER THINGS HAVE COME TO PASS, and NEW THINGS I now declare; BEFORE THEY SPRING FORTH I TELL YOU OF THEM.” (Isaiah 42:8-9) Israel was about to become a nation once again, “BEFORE SHE WAS IN LABOR SHE GAVE BIRTH; BEFORE HER PAIN CAME upon her, SHE DELIVERED A SON. Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall a land be born IN ONE DAY? Shall a nation be brought forth in one moment? For as soon as Zion was in labor, SHE BROUGHT FORTH her children. (Isaiah 66:7-8) On May 14th, 1948, Israel was born for the second time in her history.
