“I will be your God THROUGHOUT YOUR LIFETIME—until your hair is white with age. I MADE YOU, and I will CARE FOR YOU. I will carry you along and save you…To whom will you compare me?” (Isaiah 46:4,5,9,13) God has promised to care for us and be with us till the end of our life. The questions are: Are we ready to remain His children? Are we willing to be cared for and helped by the Lord? Do we feel we can handle life ourselves? The more we know and understand the depth of God’s love and care for us, the freer and bolder we will be in living life. It will also affect our confidence and courage as we face life challenges.
“Who is my equal…Remember the things I have done in the past. For I alone am God! I AM GOD, and there is NONE LIKE ME…I am ready to set things right, not in the distant future, but RIGHT NOW!“ (Isaiah 46:4,5,9,13) God says, I am the same. I remain, unchangeably, with the same tenderness, the same affection, the same care. In this the care of God for us, it surpasses that of the most tender parent, and the most kind nourisher of the young. The Lord God Almighty wants that love and care to begin RIGHT NOW! So, if you are not currently serving the Lord this would be a great time to choose Him. Times are about to change and we need to shelter ourselves in the arms of God. “God is our refuge and strength, an EVER-PRESENT HELP in trouble.” (Psa. 46:1)
