“…Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that YOU SHOULD FOLLOW His steps…” (1 Peter 2:21) Jesus said this to His disciples, “I have given you an example, that YOU SHOULD DO AS I HAVE DONE to you.” (John 13:15)
Another very important example Jesus demonstrates for us WILL, “A NEW commandment I give to you, that you love one another; AS I HAVE LOVED YOU, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, IF you have love for one another.” (John 13:34-35)
WILL, the Word of God instructs us to, “…let the peace of God RULE in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ DWELL IN YOU richly in all wisdom, TEACHING AND ADMONISHING ONE ANOTHER in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And WHATEVER YOU DO in word or deed, DO ALL IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” (Col. 3:15-17) Keep this in mind as you serve the Lord, “…whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord YOU WILL RECEIVE THE REWARD OF THE INHERITANCE; for you serve the Lord Christ.” (Col. 3:23-24)
