“O LORD, our Lord, HOW EXCELLENT IS YOUR NAME in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens!” (Psalms 8:1) Father, your, “…law…is perfect, CONVERTING the soul; The testimony of the LORD is sure, MAKING WISE the simple; The statutes of the LORD are right, REJOICING the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, ENLIGHTENING the eyes; The fear of the LORD is clean, ENDURING forever; The judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. MORE TO BE DESIRED are they than gold, Yea, THAN MUCH FINE GOLD; SWEETER also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them Your servant is warned, And in keeping them there is GREAT REWARD.” (Psalms 19:7-11)
Wouldn’t we love to receive a great reward that is desired more than MUCH FINE GOLD? Well, we can have it by calling on the name of the Lord and reading His perfectly enlightening Word. “For the word of God is living and powerful, sharp and piercing and is a discerner (to distinguish mentally) the thoughts and intents of our heart.” (Hebrews 4:12)
