Encouragement To Pray

Will, as I was praying for you today I felt inspired to share this with you. So, please bear with me. David said, “As for me, I will call upon God…Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, And HE SHALL HEAR MY VOICE.” (Psalms 55:16-17) This is an entry I made in my journal a few years ago…

This morning (June 28, 2010) as I began my prayer time, I wondered if my prayers were having much effect. As I was praying, “Lord, help me that my prayers will be effective.” The Lord stopped me and directed me to look at my prayer journal during my fast so I began to browse through words the Lord had spoken to me. I just “happened” to turn to this entry from February 6th of this year. This is what the Lord spoke to me…

“Bill, I want you to hear and understand what I am saying to you so you can teach others. Your prayers are necessary for me to bless those you love, the more prayers you pray the more blessings will come. As I told you Bill, your prayers are incense that goes into my vial of blessings to be poured out. I mix my grace and power with this incense and pour it out on the ones you are covering with prayer. A little incense will produce little blessings; more incense will produce greater blessings. I have poured out many blessings Bill, many! Continue to give me what I need from you to bless your prayer family! Be faithful continue!”

“Let my prayer be set before You as incense…” Psalms 141:2

James said that our words set 1“…on fire the course of nature…” he said 2“…Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. Our words charge the atmosphere and cause things (good or bad) to happen. Something should happen when we pray because 3“…The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much [to have or exercise much force].”
