“Now all glory to God, who is able, through HIS MIGHTY POWER (dunamis: power for performing miracles) AT WORK WITHIN US, to accomplish INFINITELY MORE than we might ask or think.” (Eph. 3:20)
We are being taught here in the scriptures that WITHIN US (that is you and me) there is mighty power, given to us by God, for doing MIRACULOUS THINGS! And that these things will be accomplished INFINITELY MORE than we can ask or think! “So we praise God for the GLORIOUS GRACE HE HAS POURED OUT ON US who belong to His dear Son. He is so rich in kindness and grace that HE PURCHASED OUR FREEDOM with the blood of His Son and FORGAVE OUR SINS. He has SHOWERED HIS KINDNESS ON US, along with ALL WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING.” (Eph. 1:6-8)
“For this reason I BOW MY KNEES TO THE FATHER of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would GRANT YOU, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that CHRIST MAY DWELL IN YOUR HEARTS through faith; that you, being ROOTED AND GROUNDED IN LOVE, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— TO KNOW (ginōskō: to become INTIMATLY acquainted with) THE LOVE OF CHRIST which passes knowledge; that you may be FILLED (plēroō: SO FULL that nothing shall be wanting) with ALL the FULLNESS OF GOD.” (Eph. 3:14-19)
